Mirosław Ropiak: Jest to nazwa, jak każda inna. Teatr powinien się jakoś nazywać. Dlaczego AntyTEATR? Dlatego, że świadomie łamiemy pewne reguły i prawa obowiązujące w teatrze, chociaż można powiedzieć, że prawie w każdych współczesnych sztukach tak się robi. Teatr, tak jak sztuka, ciągle idzie do przodu, zaskakuje swoją oryginalnością i niekonwencjonalnością. My również! Przykładowo przenosimy dużo środków filmowego wyrazu do tworzonych sztuk.
Dewiza grupy to „nie robić teatru na siłę”… ale co to znaczy?
Oznacza po prostu „dobrze się bawić”! Nasz teatr ma być najpierw naszą zabawą na próbach, a potem dobrą zabawą dla naszych widzów. Nie robimy sztuk klasycznych i poważnych. To są komedie absurdu. Dowcipy i śmieszne sytuacje rodzą się na poczekaniu.
Wiele z Waszych sztuk to bardzo odważne modyfikacje utworów. Jak reaguje publiczność na takie interpretacje? Nie boicie się, że zgubicie sens sztuki przez jej drastyczne przekształcenie?
No właśnie! Najczęściej przerabiamy poważne dramaty pod absurdalne komedie, ale zawsze dbamy o to, żeby oryginalna sztuka zachowała swój sens. Szanujemy autorów, dlatego przedstawiamy to, co mieli na myśli, pisząc dany utwór. Nieskromnie powiem, że publiczność jest zawsze zachwycona.
W jaki sposób wybierasz sztuki teatralne, które będziecie wystawiać?
Sztuki wybieram wspólnie z grupą. Najpierw szukamy dzieła, w którym występuje liczba bohaterów zbliżona do ilości naszych aktorów. Potem wspólnie czytamy wszystkie zebrane teksty i wybieramy najciekawszy.
A nad czym teraz pracujecie w AntyTEATRZE?
Obecnie pracujemy nad… tworzeniem nowego składu grupy. Pod koniec września ogłosiliśmy nowy nabór, ale w tym roku nie mamy do niego szczęścia. Ludzie przychodzili na rozmowę, a potem już nie wracali. Może się czegoś wystraszyli. Obecnie AntyTEATR tworzą cztery pewne osoby. Nadal czekamy na jeszcze czterech lub pięciu ludzi.
Co musi mieć w sobie aktor, żebyś chciał z nim pracować?
Przede wszystkim musi być odpowiedzialny za siebie i za innych, konsekwentny w działaniu i systematyczny w uczestnictwie na próbach. Nie musi mieć doświadczenia scenicznego, a umiejętności (nawet jeśli ich nie ma jeszcze) same z czasem przychodzą.
Jak wyglądają Wasze próby?
Na początku są ćwiczenia improwizacyjne, tzn. jest zadany temat, każdy dla siebie jest reżyserem i na poczekaniu wymyśla sobie tok postępowania w improwizowanej scence. Następnie mamy próby „stolikowe” i sceniczne.
Co taki pasjonat teatru może zyskać, będąc w AntyTEATRZE?
Po pierwsze uczy się pewności siebie. Uczestnictwo na naszych próbach wiąże się z poznawaniem ciekawych osób, ale przede wszystkim z poznawaniem siebie od środka. Próby to ciekawa przygoda i możliwość zapomnienia o problemach dnia codziennego. Nasze spotkania działają także antystresowo, a nawet antydepresyjnie. Tu może przyjść każdy i przez te 3 godziny może być zupełnie kimś innym.
Uważasz, że teatr amatorski może być przepustką do dalszej kariery aktorskiej?
Oczywiście, że tak. Ba! Teatr amatorski może nawet uświadomić komuś jego powołanie aktorskie. Uczestnictwo w takim przedsięwzięciu to także duże doświadczenie i często pierwszy kontakt z szerszą publicznością. Teatr uczy kontaktu aktora z widzem i wzajemnej zależności.
